There are tons of great wedding venues in Los Angeles. One that we recently had the pleasure to shoot at was The Terrace at LA live. Grace and Richard were able to be the first public wedding at this venue; and boy, was it awesome. Boasting 8,100 square feet of space, seating capacity of 150 and guest max of 350, this has more than enough room for an intimate wedding you won’t soon forget.

Nestled right in the heart of Downtown LA at S Figueroa st. and W Olympic blvd. Look to your left for the Hotel Figueroa or look to your right for the Staples center. The Terrace itself is an elevator ride away from The Grammy Museum. Surrounded by the hustle and bustle (but not noise), with an urban feel. Look off into the distance to see the Hollywood sign for the true taste of a Los Angeles wedding venue. Grace and Richard stayed the night at the Hotel Figueroa and did their prep there. Then headed right over to the Terrace for the ceremony.
The ceremony was held on The Terrace, which had a 180 degree view of DTLA. Surrounded by the great high-rises and the Hollywood sign off in the distance. The cocktail hour was held inside the Grammy Museum. Guests were able to have their drinks and hor d’oeuvres while enjoying the interactive exhibits and displays (e.g. Michael Jackson, John Coltrane, SoSo Def).
Then back up to the Terrace to toast, enjoy speeches and dance the night away under the starry sky. This venue is very unique, chic and LA. Having the Ceremony and cocktail hour in two separate but close spaces is always helpful. The guests having the Grammy Museum to explore was an added treat for all.
