The Ebell club, Long Beach wedding

The Ebell Club in Long Beach is definitely a great choice for a wedding. With all it’s fine details, quirky, creative and elegant. With a variety of rooms to utilize (his/her prep, dining, relaxing, main, dance floor).

We had shot Emily & Justin’s engagement earlier in the year, and knew we were in a for a fun-filled treat. This was a cute, sweet and loving couple, happily nervous to proclaim their love in front of their family and friends. The ladies popped some bubbly (“you’ll take your eye out!”), cracked some jokes, had some laughs and shared a few timely stories. Her gorgeous dress on full display, it was a sight to behold.

After tucking Emily away in her suite, the guests anxiously awaiting the bridal party procession. Justin also waited with bated breath. No matter how many times you see your partner, there’s always something about seeing them walking down the aisle that just does a little something to you.

It was a great ceremony, with an exuberant officiant overseeing it all. He really got the crowd into it and you could feel the love and support emanating from everyone.

After a little ‘couples session’ in one of the many super-cool side rooms, it was time for the reception. The ballroom, with its huge vaulted ceilings and globe chandeliers, is impressive, rustic and inviting all at the same time. Thank yous filled with genuine appreciation, speeches filled with personal insight and humorous quips. It was a joyous time.
